Inspired by one of TAG Heuer’s historic Seafarer timepieces, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer revives the brand’s sailing legacy with a modern edge. Its bold marine-inspired design, paired with a blue-stitched textile strap and the new Calibre TH20-04 with tide indicator, reflects the pioneering link between the sea and precision timing. A Victory Wreath on the caseback — symbolising success and good fortune — completes the watch.
The beige opalin dial features teal and yellow accents inspired by a historic Heuer Seafarer made for Abercrombie & Fitch. The 3 o’clock counter references regatta timing, while the 9 o’clock tide indicator subdial, activated by the “TIDE” pusher, shows the expected time of the next high or low tide.
The in-house Calibre TH20-04 integrates the tide mechanism and ensures precise chronograph control through a column wheel and vertical clutch. Bi-directional winding supports reliable performance, while 100-metre water resistance suits life on and off the water.
The 42 mm steel case balances strength and refinement. A signature glassbox sapphire crystal with a bezel-free curve improves legibility from every angle, while the seven-row steel bracelet provides comfort and balance, complemented by the additional textile strap.
